LOGOS

  • Regions, task forces, committees, national groups, and programs must have their logos approved by the National Office before public use and if the logo has been changed.

  • You must be in good standing with NABJ to use the NABJ logo as a component of your branding and have completed any annual update and reporting requirements. Any promotional material using the NABJ logo standalone must be approved by NABJ communications.

  • National arms of NABJ may create custom logos with approval, which is our preference.

  • It should always be clear on materials that a program or event is hosted by your group.

WEBSITES AND SOCIAL MEDIA

  • Social media accounts for regional/national special events must be approved as well, however setting up one-off accounts is not recommended and approval may be limited. Use your existing group accounts to promote, as well as national support.

  • The Communications Director or the Official NABJ account must be an admin on all social media groups and pages and possess the credentials for social accounts for emergencies and information sharing purposes. This also applies for websites. It is important to pass on information to new leaders.

  • Please ensure your information is always updated with the office and we're aware of who is curating or managing your pages/groups. All moderators and managers must be members in good standing. Updated social media policies will be shared in the near future.

EVENTS & WEBINARS

  • The National Office will manage/approve all official NABJ webinars, however, regions, task forces, committees, programs and Board members may offer webinars on their own platforms with the National Office's and the President’s approval. Webinars, on or off platform, cannot be promoted until approved, which is done via the webinar form.

  • Webinars or virtual events using NABJ’s brand must be approved via the form housed here (which includes marketing and planning instructions): http://bit.ly/NABJWebinarRequest.

  • NABJ national arms/groups that partner with chapters to host webinars/events still need to notify us for approval because it is use of the brand.
